The confines of life

Satire is not my forte but some of it can be a joke Especially when the newspaper is the biggest poke Is someone still checking for the oxygen level With every sneeze once it was the biggest ravel Or we will wait till March and April for the Covid news Till then we have pollution holidays to hold the views Was waiting although to wear someday the mosquito net Till I thought dengue and chikunguniya were bigger threat But Olympics with IPL and the protest took over headlines And elections were there to set newer deadlines Now fever don’t trigger the panic button in family And hopefully diseases won’t leave us locked and lonely There won’t be guidelines from every voice you hear Some really concerned and some really not so dear But we will still have some from disaster management team Tackling Covid in metro and buses by queues outside like stream   By this the governments helped us not getting infected Now they will handle pollution by a policy refract

A biological stream

There are too many don’t knows But this curiosity just bows For there are too many questions To at least reach the reasons Of at least a   few, if only one or two…. Why and how the cell choose the fate Why it’s on time or at least never too late   Why the progenitors are helping by And wounds are bidden good bye Although real stem cells are really few…. Is there a protein door on the membrane Or do the lipids also have some brain To collect and send the information Probably it depends on orientation Amplification starting from few…. Why there are so many signal cascades And what truly serves as barricades Or there are routes parting the ways Is it just sometimes or always Just like a chain reaction from a few…. What ladder is there to climb up and down Do microfilaments serve as roads in the cellular town Or there is plenty of routes to be explored And who is this magical town’s lord Is it one or is it two or do they settle for a few…..
